Q - We have been given a date to attend court for a decision on whether our home may be repossessed. We cannot pay the outstanding arrears, can you help?   A - Yes, there are options available to you. You could contact your lender, explain your situation and ask for more time, it is always better to communicate ASAP. If this does not work, you can ask the court to give you more time. If that fails, we can buy your home and rent it back to you, giving you the opportunity to buy it back at a future date. We can also build in a deposit to enable you to do so.

Q - I have been to court and been given an eviction date when my home will be repossessed, can you help?   A - We can stop repossession proceedings right up to the time when the bailiffs come to change the locks, but we advise you to contact us without delay, the more time we have, the better. Do not risk being too late.

Q - How do we know that you will not buy our home and then evict us after a few months?   A - Before we buy your home, we will provide you with a legal document from a well respected independent solicitor which protects your interests. Our directors will also personally guarantee that you can stay on as tenants provided you abide by the terms of the standard tenancy agreement.

Q - Do I need HIPS?   A - If you sell directly to us and not through an agent, you do not need a HIPS

Q - Will our rent rise so much that we cannot afford to pay?   A - We will guarantee that it will not rise above the government annual inflation figures.

Q - What if I become ill or cannot work?   A - We borrow money to buy your house and all mortgages need to be paid regularly. Your rent will pay the mortgage. Unlike most lenders, if you experience financial difficulty, we will do everything in our power to assist you to overcome your problems. All we ask is that you let us know in plenty of time of any potential problems on the horizon. It is always best to communicate ASAP so we can assist you to explore the benefits system and any other options.

Q - We do not want our neighbours to know our problems and that we are having to sell our house - how can you help?   A - We offer absolute discretion. No 'For Sale' signs, no advertising and we would certainly never discuss your personal problems with any other party. Confidentiality is assured.

Q - Do you cover the whole of the country or just the South East?   A - We are based in Canterbury in Kent and most of our clients are in Kent and East Sussex - we have recently helped families in Faversham, Folkestone, Ashford and Deal.
